(DCI) has achieved the status of first Certification Body to achieve ANAB accreditation for the new ISO 50001 Energy management systems standard. “Several years ago DEKRA decided to invest in the energy sector and establish the goal of becoming the premier, pioneering certification body for energy management systems in the USA. Our collaboration with the US Department of Energy starting in 2008 and now, as the only SEP Verification Body, has included participation in the standards writing and all aspects of the certification and competence issues of SEP and ISO 50001.
